BuildDock is a discovery network for digital projects. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
• Aggregate impression and click counts per project — tied to the project shown, not to individual visitors.
• Your selected display language, stored locally in your browser only.

What we don't collect

• We do not track individual visitors across sites or build visitor profiles.
• We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.
• The widget does not collect any personal data from the people who see it — only an anonymous, aggregate impression/click count for the project being shown.

Why we collect it

Your email lets us follow up about your application. Impression and click counts are what power the leaderboard and the fair-rotation scheduler — without real counts, ranking and rotation can't work.

Retention

Waitlist emails are kept until applications close or you ask us to delete yours. Impression/click counts are kept as anonymous aggregate statistics tied to projects, not to people, and are not deleted when a project leaves the network — they remain as a historical record of that project's past performance.

Cookies & local storage

We don't use tracking cookies. Your browser may store one small preference locally on your device — your selected display language. This stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
