Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BuildDock (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What the Service does

BuildDock is a free discovery network: members embed a small widget that recommends other member projects and, in return, get recommended on other members' sites. Ranking on the leaderboard is based only on real clicks — there is no way to pay for a higher rank.

Staying an active member

To remain active in the network, your widget must stay installed and visible on the domain you registered it for. We may periodically check this, and a listing that fails verification can be paused until it's fixed. Moving or copying a valid widget to a different, unapproved domain does not make that domain a member.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Artificially inflate impressions or clicks (bots, click farms, incentivized clicking, or automated traffic).
• Submit a project that isn't real, working, or that you're not authorized to represent.
• Attempt to bypass domain verification or otherwise misrepresent which site is showing the widget.
• Use the Service to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system, including our own infrastructure.

We may pause or remove a project, at our discretion, to protect the integrity of the network.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee a specific amount of traffic, impressions, or clicks — the network's exposure depends on how many members are active at any given time.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including the scheduling logic, ranking rules, and verification process, without prior notice.
